Genesis Christian Academy was founded in 2015 by concerned parents and local pastors. These parents and pastors saw the need for another option of education outside of the public school system. In 2015, the only private school in Ashland County was Ashland Christian School; however, they only offered a PK-8 program. No private high school existed in the entire county, so the parents decided to take action; and out of that passion for education came Genesis. 
      For the last 5 years, Genesis has strived to provide quality education, not only for the homeschool community, but for students wanting a unique private school experience. We provide: 
  •  University-style classes based on the Ohio Department of Education’s requirements
  • College Credit Plus program through local area colleges
  • Electives; such as basketball, trapshooting, drama club, and student government board
  •  Full high school transcript of college-ready classes, so our students are ready for higher education upon their graduation. 
      It is our mission to enrich the spiritual and academic lives of our students.
