Mr. Priest has served in Christian education for 17 years, including a year in Mexico and nine years in Honduras. He and his wife are both originally from central Ohio. Their two children were born in Honduras. Jonathan is conversationally fluent in Spanish, and he is fascinated with everything science related, including science fiction. He loves spending time with his family, bird watching, camping, and reading. Most importantly his heart's desire is to faithfully serve the Lord and grow His kingdom through education.

Matt is a pastor at Hopewell Church in Ashland and teaches college level Bible courses at Richland Correctional. He has also taught various courses for homeschoolers in the past. Matt also runs an online newspaper, the Ashland Free Press. He and his wife Elizabeth have 4 children.

Born and raised in Greenwich, Ohio, Russ graduated from the Academy of Toccoa Falls Institute (now College) in Georgia in 1960. He attended Moody Bible Institute and Grace College, and graduated from Ashland College (now University) in 1966. He then joined the faculty of Mansfield Christian School where he taught history, government and Bible. Russ later taught most or all of the high school Bible courses. He has served as interim pastor/pastor for numerous evangelical churches, and was one of the first to make Francis Schaeffer's "How Should We Then Live" a high school worldview course in 1977. Russ remained at MCS 34 years and his wife Susan taught there 26 years with time out to raise three children. He has been on staff with Southview Grace Brethren Church since 2010.

Jeff has taught math for over 30 years, currently at Lorain County Community College and as adjunct professor at Ashland University. He has also taught at Cleveland State University, Bowling Green State University and the Lorain County Joint Vocational School. His wife Mary manages Bauer Management Realty in Ashland, they have been married for 24 years and have 3 sons at home.

Bob was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio and graduated from Madison High School in 1959. He taught American History, Senior Government and World History for 36 years at Mapleton High School. During his time there, he also created two courses: Great Lives and American Law. Bob has taught American History, Western Civilization, Government and Law, and History of England to homeschool students for several years, and taught Western Civilization and American History for 3 years in a classical school. He resides in Ashland with his wife Rebecca and their cocker spaniel, Millie.

Kathy is a Mom and has been actively involved with homeschooling the past few years. She has taught art and design at the college level for over 20 years including Marietta College, Kent State University, Akron University, The College of Wooster, and most recently, Ashland University. She has exhibited her own work extensively in Ohio and West Virginia. Kathy lives in the Ashland area with her husband, their son, and their cat. She also enjoys photography, organic gardening

Sherry has taught speech over the years and is now an adjunct professor at Ashland University teaching Foundations of Communications and Health Communications. She was in competitive collegiate debate and has been teaching communications for several years. Sherry emphasizes key concepts high school students need to learn to be competent in communications settings wherever their career takes them. Sherry is the wife of Pastor John Bouquet of Bethel Baptist in Savannah where she is a Women’s Ministry leader, writes and teaches Bible Studies and has taught all ages in the various ministries as well as serves on worship team. John and Sherry have 3 grown sons (1 college graduate, 2 in college), and 1 daughter in high school who is homeschooled.

Kathy is the mother of eight grown children and twenty-one grandchildren. Kathy and her husband, Jim, homeschooled all of their children. Since completing the schooling of her children, she has been assisting students through private tutoring and teaching Institute for Excellence in Writing with Classical Conversations and now with GCA!

Dr. Hamilton is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Ashland University where he has taught full time since 1985. He began as an adjunct in philosophy, and assistant baseball coach in 1981, then later served as chair of the philosophy department for six years. His book, “A Primer On Biblical Ethics” was published in 2014. Mark has taught numerous courses in Philosophy of Religion, Ancient Philosophy, Ethics, Christian Thought, and on C.S. Lewis. He is pastor of Providence Church in Mifflin, Ohio, and in 2007 survived a liver transplant. Mark has been married to his wife Pat for more than 30 years, they have two married daughters and two grandchildren.

Jeanine Belsterling has lived in Ashland for 22 years. She and her husband Don came to Ashland to finish his Seminary degree in 1994. Before moving to Ashland, she taught Spanish grades 7-12 at Dayspring Christian School in Greeley, Colorado while her husband served as Youth Pastor at a local church. Jeanine has been teaching middle school Spanish at Ashland Christian School for 5 years. Jeanine and Don have three children.

Katie Bailey is a junior Ashbrook scholar at Ashland University, majoring in History and
Political Science. She has studied Latin at Ashland University and loves to translate Cicero. Katie is a member of many clubs on campus, including the Campus Crew, AU Honors Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Alpha Theta, Love Your Melon and Young Americans for Liberty. She enjoys studying the Civil War, and wants to become a professor of American history.

Ross Justice is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at North Central State College, in Mansfield, Ohio where he has taught economics for over 20 years. During that time he has also served as an adjunct professor of Economics for Ashland University and the Ohio State University. Ross was born, reared and currently lives near Hayesville, Ohio. Ross and his wife Barbara began home-schooling, all of their nine children, in 1984. While doing an independent study in Switzerland as a Farel House student under the Christian apologist Francis Schaefer in 1974, Ross began his life-long pursuit of understanding the science of Economics from an explicitly Christian perspective.
